Wizardmon - It's a kind of magic

Let's see how many years have passed since I drew a Digimon fanart..... 2010..... IT WAS SEVEN YEARS AGO!!!! HOLY SHIT! I feel so old...

So this is one of two pictures for the first place of my contest, CelestialInk She wanted me to draw Wizardmon as Chibi!  


I really enjoyed drawing him ♥ which is why I got carried away while colouring... Every time I tell myself to make something simple and fast, it ends up being a new experiment, like this one. I was colouring his cloak but I thought: He's a wizard, why does his cloak look so simple? What if I would throw some magical-space-glow-stuff on him?  I thought it would be a nice detail to make the inside of his cloak a little more magical. Why? Because I loved the symbols~ I love his design in general! But no one said it's not allowed to add some more details.. Et voilà, that's why it turned out like this~

Also while drawing I couldn't get "A kind of Magic" by Queen out of my head. I didn't matter what I was listening to, my head had only that one song playing in loop.
